We all aspire to be the best whatever we do and continuously work to evolve better at an institutional or individual level. When we look back the journey of JP International School which started way back in 2004 and compare the advancement made by the school in recent past and its aspirations for future, it’s imperative to connect with past to plan ahead. We decided to connect with some of the alumnus of JPIS to feel the pulse and to experience the distinctive view about JPIS and its life exists amid the student of the 2004 and today. It is very obvious as the circumstances and the resources available were very different; however, it is human tendency to still venture into that line of comparison between the times then and now.

While there are many information available about the journey through school records, staff members, Principal madam who is the founder principal , yet the best which can narrate stories were alumni, so we decided to hold our alumnus meet and before that formal gathering, invited some of them to reconnect and to listen to their tales and success stories. Obviously, they all were thrilled and came enthusiastically to meet us and after the campus visit, they were in awe about the growth the school has made and there were many anecdotes about their “time” which were so hilarious to say the least. However, it was heartening to know their learning at school which was mostly focused around discovery, exploration, academics and getting ahead in life which indeed is very relevant even today, undoubtedly. We were pleasantly surprised to take a note from them on the social behavior which of course has changed with the advent of technology. They all were in admiration with the Wi-Fi campus, tablets, laptops, digital communication lab, 3D printing lab, robotics, digital class rooms, new age labs, playing area, automated library, new teaching learning materials, scholarship benefits , AC class rooms and transportation for primary wing kids, open air theater, mobile app, prestigious Atal Tinkering Lab, Sports equipments etc. The compassion and adventure at JPIS now comes through various activities of participation be it Each One Teach One, Interact club, Duke of Edinburgh’s, Leadership lessons with captains of industry, learning through art, music and films, be it Spic Macay, annual film festival and above all a great mix of old and new faculty and each one adds an unique expression of the school persona. It was a proud moment for them and we can feel the nostalgia in their eyes and communication and each of them wishes to join back to restart the school all over again to experience the new dimensions in school education!

However, they are quite successful in their venture and were candidly said “What JPIS has taught us was a lot more than academics and in spite of infrastructure challenges as school was at a growth stage, we were taught how to be progressive, how to develop positive attitude, how to control our own destiny and how to stand up on our own feet. We learned to succeed here and would always be grateful to our school”. Thereafter, we had a great alumnus meet and it was a rocking experience.

So we all sat down and thought that we at JPIS had a head start in 2004 , registered a stupendous success , earned a reputation of being a reliable school which offers new age facilities at a very affordable fee. This is being duly acknowledged by everyone including Times of India, Education World rankings to position us as a top ranked school year after year in their annual surveys in various parameters like faculty, academic reputation, co curricular activities, sports, life skill education, parental involvement, value for money, community service, international network etc.

The plan for the next 05 years to raise the bar and excel in each parameter to break the ceiling to ensure that JPIS is the best academic institution which truly transform the life of individuals of all categories. Mr. Roshan Agarwal, Chairman of JPIS and the man behind the transformation always insist on making the pedagogy a child centric and holistic. We collectively will work harder to equip our faculty with attitude, skills and knowledge to deliver the effective instructions, more formal partnership with community, integrate and instill future skills at every level to make them more confident to take the world on, unleash their academic, cultural, creative and sporting potential in seamless coordination with parents to develop character qualities and high order thinking.

We have been able to cover a good ground since 2004 yet a lot more to achieve and I remember instantly the poem of Robert frost “The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep” .

Each one of us at JPIS family is aware of our responsibilities and committed to walk every inch to live up to the words as the intent and initiatives are the harbingers of any movement and beginning made never does become futile.
