"Academic Art Integration"

In accordance with the pedagogical initiative by CBSE, JP International School was graced by an inspiring and insightful Art Integration Presentation by the students of grades I to VIII on 7th October 2023. The event aimed to showcase the school's efforts in integrating art into the curriculum, creating a well-rounded educational experience for students. Art- integration education is a cross-curricular approach to teaching and learning based on collaboration between the teachings of the subject with the teaching of art where Art, in any of its multiple forms, becomes the primary pathway to learning the subject.

When Art is integrated with education, it helps the child apply art-based inquiry, investigation and exploration, critical thinking, and creativity for a deeper understanding of the concept. This kind of integration not only makes the teaching and learning process joyful, but it also has a positive impact on the development of certain skills, such as communication skills, reflection, and inquiry skills, un-conditioning the mind and leading to higher confidence levels and self-esteem, appreciation for aesthetics and creativity. 

As per the pairing of Uttar Pradesh with Arunachal Pradesh, the presentations depicted the contrast between these two Indian states in several aspects such as geographical location, historical significance, cultural diversity, etc. The Art Integration Presentation left a positive impression on parents, highlighting the school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and holistic development in students. It was a testament to the school's dedication to innovative teaching methods and the encouragement of student's artistic talents.
