Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore was born on 7 May 1861 in Jorsanka, Kolkata West BengalThis is his 163rd birth anniversary.World known Poet, Novelist, Dramatist, storywriter, composer, painter, philosopher, social reformer, educationist and the First indian to be awarded with Nobel Prize in the field of literature in 1913. He left the spectacular mark of Bengal on the World Map.JP International School, Greater Noida had celebrated the birth anniversary of Gurudev RabindraNath Tagore. Students from Grade IV participated in the event with full zeal and fervour. They delivered speeches, recited poems, depicting his contributions towards literature. They prepared beautiful posters and sketches for the occasion.
This event was a huge success, it brought in us the spirit of unity, love, positivity and hope.
