JP International School in Greater Noida celebrated Cleanliness Week from 9th to 14th October 2023 with a series of activities aimed at promoting cleanliness and instilling values of hygiene among its students.
The week commenced with the entire school taking the Swachhata pledge, emphasizing the importance of a clean environment. On the 10th of October, senior students spearheaded a Cleanliness Drive in the vicinity, setting an exemplary standard for the community. They worked diligently to tidy up the nearby area.
On the 11th of October, students participated in poster-making and essay writing events. This allowed them to express their thoughts and ideas about cleanliness, further reinforcing the importance of this value. The efforts of these students were remarkable.
The following days saw different grade levels engaged in various activities. Students from grades VI to VIII participated in a Quiz that not only enhanced their general awareness but also deepened their understanding of cleanliness as a vital value.
Meanwhile, students from grades III to V created slogans and adorned their respective classrooms with them, fostering good habits and a sense of responsibility.
The school principal, Ms.Ruby Chandel praised the commendable efforts of both students and teachers, encouraging them to make cleanliness a daily habit, and to actively care for their environment and nature. The entire week's activities successfully conveyed the importance of cleanliness and left a lasting impact on the students.
