Hawan Ceremony at JPIS to Invoke the Blessings of Divine

On 07th feb,2024 ,Wednesday at JPIS was quite sacred and serene as the school community got ready to invoke the blessings of the divine, through Vedic rituals, aiming to provide spiritual and mental rejuvenation to the students appearing for class X and XII Board examinations, by instilling a sense of calmness before their upcoming examinations.

The ceremony commenced with the chanting of Vedic hymns, invoking the blessings of divine forces followed by lighting the sacred fire (Agni), symbolizing purity and transformation. Participants with the Principal of JPIS,offered grains, herbs, and ghee into the fire and recited special prayers and mantras. The ceremony concluded with the offering of Aarti to the divine, accompanied by devotional songs.

The Hawan Ceremony left a profound impact on the students, fostering a sense of calmness, positivity, and resilience amidst the exam pressure. Many students expressed feeling lighter and more focused after participating in the sacred ritual. In short, the Hawan Ceremony served as a spiritual oasis for the board students, providing them with a serene space to recharge and realign their energies before facing the challenges of their examinations. It reiterated the school's commitment to holistic education, nurturing not only academic excellence but also emotional and spiritual well-being.
