Visit to the Parliament in alignment with Heritage week, exemplified JP International School's commitment to holistic education and instilling a sense of civic duty in its students, in alliance to 4th SDG goal of Quality Education. The senior students from grades 10 to 12 of JP International School embarked on a profound journey to the heart of Indian democracy. On April 23rd, they ventured to the Parliament, accompanied by three teachers and the esteemed Principal, Ms. Ruby Chandel. This excursion was not merely a school outing but a pilgrimage to the cradle of our nation's governance. As they stepped foot into the hallowed halls of the Parliament, they were greeted by the echoes of history and the weight of responsibility. Engaging with the architecture and the proceedings, they gained firsthand insight into the mechanisms that steer our nation's destiny. Conversations with lawmakers and witnessing debates underscored the vitality of civic engagement. This experience wasn't just about learning facts; it was about internalizing the values of democracy and citizenship. The students left with a deeper appreciation for their role in shaping the future of their country. As the students returned, their hearts brimmed with pride and reverence for India's democratic heritage, ready to carry forward the lessons learned into their lives and communities.
