Rakhi Celebration

A thread of love, a promise of protection – Rakshabandhan weaves hearts together."

At JP International School, our young learners from Pre-Primary to Grade 2 joyfully celebrated the vibrant festival of Rakshabandhan – The Festival of the Bond.

The celebration was filled with warmth and creativity. Children made beautiful handcrafted rakhis as part of their craft activity, reflecting their love and effort. In a heartwarming gesture, the girls tied rakhis on the boys' wrists, symbolizing the eternal bond of care and trust. In return, the boys expressed their appreciation with thoughtful gifts, celebrating mutual respect and friendship.

The celebration emphasized the values of love, unity, and mutual respect, fostering emotional well-being among children—an initiative beautifully aligned with the spirit of SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
