Scouts and Guides class IV to VIII

A night camp was organized for Scouts and Guides from class IV to VIII on 26 August 2023 on the premises of JP International School. 111 students participated in it. All the students were present on campus at 3:00 p.m. Principal of Jaypee International School Mrs. Ruby Chandel ji along with Chief Guest District Training Counselor Scout Mr. Qadir, District Training Commissioner Scout Mr. Vikas Kumar, Mr. Shiv Kumar and Ms. Shefali Gautam were also present. First of all the guests along with the Principal lit the lamp. Then the instructor and flag hoisting (opening ceremony) were done with scouts and guides. 

The students of Scouts and Guides were made to practice campfire and a grand campfire was also done. Lecture classes were organized for the students. Students were taken for a night walk. In the next morning session, a Zumba dance was conducted for the students along with flag-hosting, a practical class. After lunch, the Scouts and Guides learned knots and lashings. He also learned to pitch tents. The closing ceremony was organized in the evening from 4:00 to 4:20 along with the declaration of results. 

The main objective of the camp was to develop practical knowledge and enhance the behavioral development of Scouts and Guides. At the same time, Scouts teach children the value of teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Additionally, Scouts can help children to develop confidence in their abilities and learn to take initiative.
