Students of JPIS visited JLN Stadium

"Khelo India Para Games – a celebration of human passion and spirit",

Students of JPIS visited JLN Stadium, New Delhi on 15th of December ,2023 to attend cerebral palsy football match between Tamilnadu vs Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan vs Kerala. Being a member school of AFS India JPIS students got the opportunity to meet its board member Mr.Joseph Kuok who has been a volunteer with AFS India since 2005, He is the Vice President of the Delhi Swimming Association, Treasurer of the Cerebral Palsy Sports Federation of India (CPSFI) and Secretary of the Delhi Cerebral Palsy Association. Students interacted with the other AFS India Volunteers also who helped them to understand the Cerebral Palsy Disability and made them understand that children and adults with cerebral palsy have the same rights, access and opportunities as the rest of the world. After the match JPIS students interacted with CP Football players and boosted up their morale by cheering them up.

This visit helped students to inculcate the feeling of inclusiveness, listening, sharing, compromising, seeing things from other people’s points of view and showing empathy and positive ways to interact with the children having any kind of disability.
