JPIS Unveiled Spectacular Celebration: Melange 2024, Harnessing the Power of Women – A Triumph in Every Shade of Shakti

JP International School's 18th Annual Day celebration, Melange 2024, with the subtitle 'Shakti - Power of Women,' unfolded on February 24. The evening featured a captivating show under the theme 'Shakti - Power of Women,' commencing with the lamp lighting and Ganesh Vandana, invoking blessings from Goddess Saraswati and Lord Ganesha.

The esteemed Chief Guests, Ms. Rita Ganguly, a renowned Indian musician and Padma Shri Awardee, and the Guest of Honor, Ms. Sashi Bhaduria, UNESCO Coordinator at Randhawa, along with Mr. Shishir Aggarwal; the President, Mr. Arun Kedia, and Mrs. Nirmal Kedia; and Dr. Amit Saxena, the CEO of Sparsh Group, adorned the occasion with their valuable insights and esteemed presence. Their collective wisdom and distinguished backgrounds enriched the event. The School Principal, Ms. Ruby Chandel, played a pivotal role in orchestrating the gathering, ensuring a seamless blend of expertise and inspiration. The convergence of these influential figures underscored the significance of the event, making it a memorable celebration.

Ms. Rita Ganguly, an inspiring figure and epitome of 'Shakti,' captivated the audience with her words of wisdom. She emphasized not just worshiping 'Shakti' but nurturing and empowering it within oneself. Ms. Ganguly also conveyed that everyone possesses the energy capable of bringing about positive change in society. In the Annual Report, Ms. Ruby Chandel highlighted the school's achievements and its consistent progress toward fulfilling its vision and mission.

The event commenced with an energetic orchestra performance, capturing the attention of dignitaries and the audience. Melange 2024 highlighted exemplary women throughout history, featuring a play on Rani Durgavati's saga, emphasizing her resilience against the Mughals.

Ahilyabai Holkar's inspiring story was portrayed through dynamic dance performances. The event showcased the remarkable contributions of women in various fields, including the first Indian lady doctor Anandibai Gopal Rao Joshee and the journey of Lata Mangeshkar, depicted through play and dance performances.

Various dance performances captivated the audience during the event. The pre-primary segment showcased dances based on the five elements of energy. The middle segment featured folk dance, Salsa, Aarambh hai Prachand, Jai Jai Kara, Ahilyabai Holkar Title Song, Gulabi Song, Vande Mataram performance, and Bhangra and many more, all depicting a deep-rooted Bharatiya showcase of performances.

The school honored dedicated teachers and successful alumni, emphasizing their exemplary success stories for society and future generations. The grand finale encapsulated the essence of Melange - 'Shakti - Power of Women,' concluding with patriotic fervor during the National Anthem.
